Jeremy Clarkson went to a town hall meeting with residents to address concerns about his Diddly Squat farm store.

The Grand Tour presenter was pictured heading to Chadlington Memorial Hall before the meeting, which took place at 7pm on Thursday.

The meeting was to discuss concerns about the traffic created by his store that appears on his hit TV show Clarkson’s Farm.

Jeremy, 61, said he was resting “gossip” there by telling residents what was going on.

According to Sky News, he said: “I am here to listen.

“Gossip spreads in the villages and they don’t know what we’re doing, so I thought the best thing I can do is go down and say, ‘This is what we’re doing,’ and then they’re not gossip. Anymore.”

The posters toured the Oxfordshire area saying, “As there seems to be some debate in the village about what is going on in Diddly Squat, Jeremy Clarkson will be in Memorial Hall to explain his plans and to answer any questions he may have.” read the steering wheel.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? the host happily stopped to take pictures with the fans waiting outside for him to arrive.

Farmer Kaleb Cooper, who appears at Clarkson’s Farm helping the car enthusiast set up his business, was also present at the meeting.

Jonathan Moore, 53, a doctor who attended the meeting, told Sky News that Jeremy was “trying to control the number of people who would come to the farm in the future.”

Locals have been smoking for the past few months as treasures from fans across the country flooded the area to visit Clarkson’s farm shop.

In June, police were called to the scene after huge queues formed near the farm, with some queues for two and a half hours to enter the Diddly Squat store after the show’s launch.

Clarkson serves food and beverages at his farm store, applying for a license to sell alcohol and offer entertainment earlier this year, and requesting to turn a lamb shed adjacent to the store into a coffee shop last year.
