Emmerdale: David tells Jacob to call the police

Emmerdale fans were glued to their screens Thursday night, while David, Wendy and Victoria were held at gunpoint by Russ.

Russ had demanded that £ 50,000 be left to Harry after he had been cut from his mother’s will to the one he thought was the rightful owner.

Currently, Victoria is the one who has access to the money and Russ was almost on his way to get the money after telling him he needed it to pay the mortgage.

But his real reasons were revealed to Victoria by Wendy earlier in the week, to Russ’s displeasure when he entered the conversation.

And he decided he would have to take desperate steps to get his hands on the dough and brandished a gun at the couple, threatening to shoot them if they didn’t transfer the money to him right away.

In Thursday night’s hit soap edition, viewers watched anxiously as Russ ushered Victoria into the office to give her the safe merchandise.

But David found himself in the middle and quickly had to hide under the table when the two of them entered. His lid exploded when the phone rang, alerting David of his presence, and David quickly told his son Jacob to call the police.

Whispering to his son, he said, “Jacob, I need you to call the police. There’s a guy in the skin and he has a gun.

“I can’t talk, just call them. I have to leave.”

A frantic Jacob then arrives at his father to make the call hastily.

But it was this moment that confused the fans, who questioned David’s actions and wondered why he wasn’t just calling the police.

A fan wrote on Twitter, “Why didn’t David call the police?”

Another apparently agreed and commented, “David calls Jake and not the wtf police.”

And a third appeared just as frustrated, writing, “Someone told David it’s okay to call the police … gawwwwd.”

It’s not the first mistake fans have seen in the soap this week. On Wednesday, fans watched as Wendy was clean about her job at the NHS>

Wendy was forced to tell the truth while Russ held her hostage.

Seemingly embarrassed, Wendy revealed to Victoria that she is not actually a qualified nurse, despite working in bedside surgery in the village.

But viewers were quick to point out the likelihood that Wendy could get a job without producing any qualifications or references.

Once again fans took to social media to express their confusion about the scenes.
